Yeah I read that, looks interesting, they're definitely prolonging the life of the game. I haven't touched it for 2 months, not sure if I can get back into it, but it seems possible with this patch.

I uninstalled it a long time ago and never looked back.
Yeah I hadn't played it for a few months until yesterday either.
The patch has definately improved the game. I'm really liking the new paragon leveling system, it makes it feel like you're getting something done even if the loot is shit. And the bonus stats from the lvls are cool too, once you're level 100 you should have an extra +300 main stat and 200 vitality and about 100 of every other stat as well as 300% mf/gf. That won't be for a while though lol, I played all day yesterday until about 3am and just about got lvl 3. Got 255% mf now which nice. The drop rates have improved a lot, I got loads of 61+ blues and a fair few 63 yellows. I haven't noticed a massive difference class wise yet, apart from wizards are now using different hydras. I haven't tried my WD yet though, just been playing my demon hunter.
I've seen some ridiculous legendaries in trade though. Very nice items.
I'd say it's worth trying it again for sure.
Honestly, I haven't played DIII as much any of you.
My wizard is still in Act III of Nightmare, hah. So Paragon levels are far, far, far off.
New hydras? Uh oh, looks like I've lost track of how to play. I'm gonna need a refresher course haha.
Anyone else still playing this? Im looking for some people to play online with.
Ive been playing it on Nightmare with my Barbarian. So far Im lvl 35. I have a pretty good setup. I can finally make perfect gems, so Im starting to make my weapons and armor even better. I forget the name of it, but the weapon I have is a huge two handed axe, and its got good stats. It does 61 DPS (total damage rating is right over 600). Its hard for me to replace it, mainly because it also gives me +1300 life among other things.
I haven't played in a while but I'd be up for playing again.
You playing on the american servers I guess? I'm on eu, obviously..not sure if chars carry over.
also lol perfect gems...you have a long way to go until perfect gems bro
Too lazy, don't even think it's worth going back. :\.
last time i played they had just added paragon levels, which I found good fun.
from what i've been reading recently the recent patches have been good ones.
I'd say its worth looking at again.
Monster Power improves farming by a lot.
For gems, buy Flawless Squares from the AH as they're so cheap.
what's this monster power?

I play at MP1 with 60k dps. Now that Act 3 is no longer clearly the best, you can choose whichever act you like to play.
Highest priced item I've sold:

Only 20 more levels till I can equip something like that.
Makes my tow handed 110 dps weapon look like trash.
Well I found my first Legendary item the other day. It was a polearm called Vigilance. It does right under 1400 DPS. So Ive got my dps right around there. With this thing equipped, the game is honestly much easier. I cant see this weapon being replaced for a while. I I also started my hell runthrough. Ive also been playing it on monster power 1. My barbarian has no problem dealing with it. Only stuff that is a real challenge are powerful enemies with attributes like desacrator. I tent to use my fury to enhance my attach speed, and just hit the shit out of them without moving, so Ill take a good bit of damage before I notice. But Im starting to use whirlwind and move around much more.
what are the stats...1400 dps is a lot. you could be rich.
Heres a screen shot.

Im willing to be the stat that lets you use it at 12 levels lower than normal make it worth some extra $$.
loooooooooooooooooooooool lvl req reduced by 12
i have no idea really, has no main stat....but cos it is lvl req reduced by quite a bit that could be worth a lot. check the ah.
I just started my Inferno run through with my lvl 60 Barbarian. Honestly, I thought the game was pretty easy on Nightmare. I beat Diablo without dying. I maybe died 8 times on the whole play through on nightmare. There was one part when I ran into some crazy enemies who threw huge bombs, and they were illusionist desecrators. I was constantly running because if I stopped I would get bombarded by like 10 bombs and I would get desecrated anywhere i stood for more than a few seconds. I died twice before I was able to get past them. Thats really the hardest part Ive come across so far.
Have fun with inferno then lol.
Oh wait it's insanely easier than before now right? Act 1 is pretty simple.
