I don't know why I bother making these threads anymore, I'm like the only one creating content on a dead board...but here we go.

So Dishonored is out on friday for the EU, it's already out for you guys in NA (bastards).
I am really looking forward to it. I honestly think it will be the next big IP, like half life big.
I really like how the powers can be combined and used in weird ways. I will probably be playing this solid from tomorrow midnight onwards.

I hear its not too long, one of the devs said he completed a stealth playthrough in about 20-25 hours, but he knew where everything was and wasn't reading little storyline plots and stuff so yeah. I'm going to take my time with it.
Can't wait.

Who here is getting it and what are your thoughts?

Got it last night, installing it in a bit to play some tonight. The reviews and trailer seem really cool, I will let you know my thoughts in a day or two!

Edit: About 20 minutes in (without spoilers, I just got to the room with tons of empty bottles to throw around), this seems pretty good so far, I'm pumped. Very unique story line and art style.

So I completed it last night.
I really liked it, it was beautifully made, looks amazing, plays well, has nice mechanics and lore. A real work of art. The scenery is fantastic.

Only bad thing is that it was far, far too fucking short. The quality makes up for it but yeah far too short.
Undecided on whether it is worth paying for. Quality says hell yes no doubt, but 14 hours seems...lacking for a game with no multiplayer. Although high replay value...yeah I'm not sure on whether to recommend buying. Definitely a game everyone should play though.

Girlfriend just got it for me yesterday, enjoying it so far. I know controls are fully customizeable for keyboard, but it still feels awkward, trying to find the perfect setup.

Gameplay is fun so far, just finished first episode. Can't wait to toy around with powers. 14 hours doesn't sound bad (I think Dead Space 2 was 12 and that felt too long for me). The lady said I better play the crap out of it and make her money's worth hahahaha. It seems anything over 10 is fine with me.

Swapping the left and right click for left and right hands made things a lot better for me.

This was one of the first things I did. The default setting felt so awkward for me.

But now it's been 4 hours.. haha.

I was thinking about that too though, I kept accidentally firing my gun in the beginning... but now I always just have blink equipped.

It is awesome. The entire game is fucking fantastic. The art direction/style is brilliant, nearly every screenshot looks like an oil painting. The gameplay is well done and exciting and can be done in many different ways and it is immensely satisfying to do it with kills or no kills.

The only flaw is it is far too short.
