    Cumshot Fallout 4

So there isn't a Fallout 4 thread on here yet so here goes.

Who else plays? I recently got as a gift the season pass from a very lovely lady I know and have been playing through it as well as finishing the vanilla game. I downloaded the Hi-res texture pack as well, not really worth it for the 58gb but I am suffering no fps drop from it so I kept it on.
I've added some addons that add better blood textures, 100+ songs to the radio and one to get rid of the godawful dialogue options and makes it more like the older Fallouts (a proper list where you see exactly what you'll say instead of the shitty vague d-pad selection).

So far the vault workshop dlc seems pretty cool, if a bit short quest wise.
Far Habour is really good so far, I've only just started it though, but I am enjoying it.

I am a huge fan of the Fallout series (only played 3 and up but I have bought the first two in hopes of playing). I feel like Fallout 4 was what I expected and nothing more. I mean I really enjoyed it but I have a predisposition to do so.

I'm not a huge fan of modding and I think that's the main appeal of Fallout 4.

I was hoping for more fun stuff. The quirkiness of Fallout 3 is what made me like it so much. Like the dude stuck in the tree and the town that only ever voted for that one guy but you can mess everything up for him and stuff like that. Another thing I loved was all the experiments with the vaults that you got to investigate. The Gary vault and the sound experiment vault. The vaults were actually my favourite part and I was hoping for a lot more with that in this one.

The special types of enemies you encounter were great. Oh and the place under the quarry with all the feral ghouls was amazing. I really enjoyed the upgrade to the feral ghouls. Much more fun to kill instead of just being annoying.

Didn't like the new upgrade system and I miss my karma

Yeah I love the Fallout series. I have to admit though that I found it a bit hard to 'get into' 3, much preferred New Vegas.
I have played Fallout 4 mainly without mods (I feel skyrim has the main appeal for modding for me) I just got the mods I did because i really really hate the simplified dialogue options and knew there was a mod to sort that out, and better blood textures i had on skyrim so I knew it was a good reliable mod. And yeah, the radio gets old after a while so added some new songs to that which is nice.

I feel the quirkiness of Fallout 3 is still there in Fallout 4, if not more so. There are loads of really weird things in it, just need to look a bit harder than 3 I find. The game is absolutely massive. I was wandering around the other day and found a school where the principle had agreed with vault-tec to help develop this pink food paste and was forcing everyone, teachers and students to eat nothing but and make it. It's all hidden away in the terminals mostly but yeah. Stuff like that is all over the place just hidden away a bit. Virgil the scientist super mutant is awesome as well.

There are a fair amount of vaults to discover as well, but again quite well hidden. Some fucked up experiments in 4 lol.
I might have been to the feral ghoul place under the quarry, I can't remember. I was at the quarry recently but can't remember if I went underneath. I think I did. I have a railspike gun that does 50% extra dmg to ghouls so i just tear through them haha.

I do really like the new addon system I have to admit. I have nearly fully upgraded my power armour (X-01 MKV at the moment) and have just built a jetpack for it. Which is awweeeesome. Also the weapon upgrades for the baseball bat are awesome fun.

I do miss the karma system though. Don't know why they got rid of that.

What playstyle did you go for? I went for melee, but kinda got bored of it now so branching out into rifles and pistols, thinking about shotguns lol. But the ripper melee weapon is immensly satisfying for taking out ghouls and raiders I have to admit.

Have you got the DLCs for it? One lets you make your own vault

PM me your steam name WA, we can view each others screenshots.

I really like the modern Fallout games. I have one major problem with them though.

I've never finished any of them. I loved playing them, but I eventually just got caught up in other things. When I go back to them, I have no idea where I was, what I was doing, or where to go. I can't bring myself to start over, because I just get bored, as I've already done it all.

To be fair, This happens to me with a lot of games.

Yeah that's not a problem with the game yo

I do find myself doing this. Just take the time to read through the quest log and the summaries and shit and start playing...you'll soon find yourself in the swing of things again.
