I would prefer to just have a partner I can stash in a dumpster... say, like, Ashley, or my girlfriend, whenever anything with a chainsaw comes in so I can run away like a coward without having to worry about her trying to take on the monster, or mugger, or anything like that. Having someone that you have to count on is ridiculous, especially considering how weak the AI is for your NPC partner.
Also, baby, if you're reading this, I'm sorry I threw you in that trash can when that guy came at us with a knife. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Call pls.
