...this is how it should/could be done:
It's only 5 minutes long but my god for a small production team this is badass. Part two is supposed to be coming up in the near future.

Holy crap that was awesome.
Too heavy on the camera shake but it was awesome.
never played half life but man that was intense
would definitely watch that if it was a full length movie
also holy fuck, $500 budget? most of that shit HAD to be cgi with that budget, and i couldnt even tell.
whered they get an MP7
airsoft id bet
This should be how the Half-Life movie turns out. Hopefully they dont try and throw in some stupid love story, or do any other number of things to screw it up. These guys seem like they know exactly what theyre doing, especially if they made that clip with only $500.
In a somewhat related question, does anyone play Counter Strike Source still? I was looking at it on Steam and I kinda wanted it but I wasn't sure if anyone still plays
Yes, Counter-Strike: Source is quite popular. Just a few hours ago I was playing in a public server, shooting my foes in the head from across the map, de_dust2, with my Scout sniper rifle. Be wary of the grenade-spammers when trying to overtake the "A" bombsite from the catwalk (commonly referred to as 'short'), as they will fuck you up nicely and retard your team mates, thus putting a damper on the rush and giving the opposite team ('Counter-Terrorists', if we must give them a name - thus an identity, which I do not recommend, as some people find it harder to kill something with an identify. Similar to how you should not name the puppies of your bitch if you intend on selling her young.) enough time to send forces to help, also known as providing 'back-up'.
Also, thank you for sharing this. I enjoyed it very much.
