I have both the Sims original series, as well as the sims 2 (original, university, business, IKEA, H&M, Bon Voyage, FreeTime, and Apartment Life.

In junior high I did. Although I wont lie, I always wanted to play The Sims 2
I tried making some nifty buildings with the Sims 2. The Sims 1 I had a mansion, but then had to uninstall the game.
I have the Sims 2 every single expansion pack, what a waste of 12 gigs since i hardly played it, I was really excited for "buying" it too but then I hardly play it, I think the sims felt better on console rather than PC.
^^
Yeah, it is a waste of space, which is why I ended up uninstalling it.
But here's some things I made with the game. I especially liked the amount of customization that is allowed with the game as opposed to the console versions.
Spoiler
Haha nice pictures, but I felt it was more fun on the console because I was playing with my cousin and yeah, I just feel so alone playing it by myself on the PC.
^^
True. I have Bustin' Out, The Sims 2, and The Sims 2 Castaway on PS2. I used to have to original Sims 1 on PS2 as well, but I sold that cause I stopped playing it.
hahahaha wowwwwww u gay
For some reason all those pictures made me laugh quite a bit. It started with the million pictures of the school, then the ghostly concert made me snigger and finally all the pictures of Jason just sent me over the edge.
What a silly, ridiculous and inanely genius post.
only thing genius about this thread is
I almost forgot that I have the Urbz on PS2 as well.
So here's what I like and don't like about the console games.
What I don't like of course is that the gameplay and items are limited cause duh.......
But what I do like is the option in some of the games to opt for free play as opposed to following the storyline. I also like the 2-player capability in some of the games.
The Sims 1 Bustin' Out
I like this game cause you get to travel from place to place in the neighborhood and meet some pretty nutty Sims. That Mimi character is a trip, with her pigtails.
The Urbz
I like this one also because you get to travel around. But your Sims are in an urban setting, where all kinds of things are bound to happen. I just don't like the "Central Station" area, that place gives me the creeps, well kind of.
The Sims 2 Castaway
I find this one the most fun of all the Sims console games I've played. It is also the only one where I've beaten the whole game. Your Sims get thrown off a boat and have to reunite with each other and survive on the island. Its pretty fun when you have a ton of monkeys having a party with your Sims (well, kind of a party).
^^
Hush....
The answer is no
i like this guy for some reason
^^
No.
I only posted that cause EA had to deal with junk in the begining that the Sims games were full of subliminal porn refrences and such.
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Oh whatever
it's okay man. do a member search for me; i'm the resident homo. (not the only one, just the most prolific poster of the bunch.) we can do secret man secs next to the dumpsters behind Flames. no one will have to know what we do to each others' dongs ;o
lol 'member search'
Until The Sims facilitates photorealistic graphics and programmable porn scenes I am not a paying customer.
isnt the sims 3 coming out soon?
^^
That's cool. I may buy it, though not immediately. I usually wait a few months for all the major bugs to be worked out and the price to go down some first.
Has anyone bought The Sims 3 yet?
Have you?
if i say i bought the sims 3 will everyone not make fun of me
^^
I won't.
I have not yet. again, I usually don't buy newer games until several months have passed. Typically the price is too high and there are too many bugs at first.
I played the Sims for a while, then wondered why I was living someone else's life.

Identity
The building and decorating and furnishing houses part is the only bit I ever enjoyed. It made me spend several months wanting to become an architect or an interior designer.
You got me.
anyone tried the sims 3? is it a lot better than sims 2?
