Considering the original Call of Duty was a PC only game, they should have prioritized it to come out on at least the same date as the consoles. Even if it does come out for consoles first, there would be no way in hell I would pick it up for my 360 or PS3 before I get it for PC. PC 4 Lyfe Yo.

Sadly yes. I remeber when the map pack came out for CoD4, M$ paid IW to release it like 3 weeks early on the 360. PS3 owners were waiting for another 3 weeks.

Remember the Xbox exclusive DLC for Fallout 3?

Just hit the PS3. And is going on the Game of the Year Edition. The only company that seems to be sticking to their guns is Rockstar, as no GTAIV DLC has been announced for the PS3, except some car packs, maybe.

The only PS3 DLC exclusive content is a few time trial maps for Mirror's Edge.

I'm not going to complain. I like DLC, bunches. I'm glad that it makes its way to the PS3. Microsoft is getting a few exclusive maps, though, from what I read.

Does this mean they're migrating to the stupid one-of-the-players-hosts bullshit like consoles have to deal with? I get they've implemented the host migration thing but honestly why change a good thing.

Also: if they don't realize that part of having a server browser with dedicated servers is because servers often have rather enjoyable communities they are dumb. I don't think I ever see the same PSN id twice while playing COD4 because I don't care enough to friend average people I don't know but I always liked playing with the same group of people on pc games.

Yes, match-making system is to be implemented instead of dedicated servers, meaning, there will be no 48 player games anymore. The most the match-making system could probably allow is 8v8, which is horrible. Clan owned dedicated servers is one of the reasons I have my PC, there is no better way to make friends then finding one of these servers and eventually joining a clan. Console version match-making on PC will limit this completely. Hopefully the cancellation of many copies will make them change their mind,I even hear about how some people on console are canceling their pre-orders cause of their empathy towards the PC community. But for now, we can only wait for Infinity Ward to make a new announcement. Tomorrow I will be calling my Gamestop employee friends to see how many were canceled.

360 has almost no protection, they came out with wave 3 discs earlier this year and 2 days later a new firmware for modded 360s came out. And now Infinity Ward can't blame bad sales on PC piracy when now, hundreds of thousands of people are downloading this for their modded 360s.

Also, their Airport terrorist level where you just completely mow down innocent civilians, is getting some pretty bad press. I can see this hurting sales, I believe Australian's are try to get this banned now. It really should be made known to parents who are buying this game for their kids, cause I don't know if I would allow my kids to play this if it had such a level.

Ok so I just saw a new preview on Comedy Central, and saw some interesting things.

First off, I saw a battle scene in a residential neighborhood in the US.

Then I was 90% sure I saw a scene in outer space. It came on again, and Im 100% sure I saw a scene in outer space.

Picked up my copy already. Apparently they were releasing it early in Northeast states to small retail stores. Sales boost.

Needless to say, the campaign is pretty sweet. There is a level that you can skip because of disturbing content. I played it but I wasn't happy about it.

You are an American spy with Russian guys, and you go into the Russian airport armed with ridiculous guns and just open fire at civilians. If you don't shoot, the main guy asks what's wrong. You can't run through the level. You walk, annihilating everyone. And they are killing people that are dying on the ground. I left them be. It was very graphic and a level I probably won't play again.

The multiplayer is pretty sweet though. There's no juggernaut perk. If you die more than 3 times in a row you get it temporarily and only for the level you play on. No more will we have to yell "Goddamn juggernaut asshole!"

Also, I have one issue with the plot of the campaign, and that's either an appreciation for IW's storywriting, or more likely, annoyance at their luck:

Okay, so in the mission "No Russian," the title comes from the very beginning when Makarov tells you, "No Russian." I understand why IW did this as developers (The reason why Makarov and his troops in that mission speak in English is because he says so, not because IW didn't want to deal with coding Russian.) I also understand why he would do this for the story: He plans to betray the American, so he can't have any potential witness identifying them as Russians--so English only. Either way, it's a brilliant result on IW's part, but something tells me they 100% lucked into it.

Of course, they turned around and blew it with the whole Price-launching-a-nuke thing because it was waaaay too convoluted in terms of pacing to figure out that he blew it up intentionally over the city in order to have the EMP effect without the nasty side effects of a nuclear explosion.

Tied to that, sort of, I wish the Ramirez storyline had ended closer to the end of the game. They could have resolved this by going to Loose Ends and The Enemy of My Enemy (basically, get betrayed by Shepard, then escape the Boneyard) before Second Sun and Whiskey Hotel. As it was, I thought there was more to the Ramirez story, so instead of a sense of accomplishment from racing to the top to light the flares, I felt the whole "What's next? Let's go to the next mission" thing.

My favorite classes so far is the Vector with a Red dot and Silencer, AA-12, Bling, Stopping power, and Steady Aim or Scrambler depending on the map.

Ive found a new favorite secondary weapon. The Ranger shotguns. I use it with akimbo, and if I have Bling on I also use FMJ. Its a badass little gun. If you are only using one, you can shoot both barrels at the same time by pulling both triggers.

I got the All Pro achievement (two headshots with one bullet) today with it.
