I just got a 19 kill streak. I started using the Predator missile, attack helicopter, and then the AC-130. And it was on high rise, so if they came outside, they died. I got a triple kill right before the AC-130 left with a 105mm.
Just hit level 70 and the AK is fucking incredible

Ok, well, I caved in and bought it to play with friends. I'll be honest, the storyline was terrible (obviously) but I'm having a fair bit of fun with the multiplayer.
Also, is it just me or is there no reason (apart from the fun-factor) to choose the AC-130 over the heli-gunner?

I use the Chopper Gunner but It's much easier to shoot down than the AC-130. That's the only advantage it has if you ask me.

AC-130 you need one for the flares, maybe another and then you may be able to get it. So you need two people to go after it at least.

Anyone hating the glitches just as me? I was playing at the map with all the warehouses, cranes, and burning truck and I had a 23-0 killstreak going on. Right as I saw my 24th kill to get me one step closer to getting tactical nuke, this douche bag was using the javelin glitch (anyone who kills him within several yards will automatically die along with him) and made me 24-1.
I read though that if people ues the javelin glitch will have their XBL accounts suspended when the first update comes out. I hope that's true!
That's probably not true, as it would be punshing people for Activision's fuckheadedness.
Exactly. I don't recall seeing any bans for the countlessly exploited Halo 2 glitches.

I couldn't care less as a PS3 user. Plus I find it just funny, and very rarely see it in a game.
And there are many more things in this game that are far more annoying than the Javelin glitch. Noobtubing a perfect example. The awful spawning. The inability to joining a game if you are in a party of 4 or more.

Except for the fact that IW has stated that they have a patch that fixes the javelin glitch, and anyone caught exploiting it now will be suspended for whatever period of time. The glitches in Halo 2 weren't anywhere near as ridiculous as the javelin glitch.
How the hell will people be exploiting the Javelin glitch if they patched it? I can understand suspending players for exploiting things post-patch, but that's pretty logical.
Sorry that wording was probably confusing. They haven't implemented the patch yet. If people are caught using it now, as in before the patch is implemented, they will be suspended.
Oh. It's been patched on the PS3, though. I think. I saw someone try to do it and they got very frustrated over mic. It was pretty funny.
Did you have to download something last time you got on? I know for the 360 at least if they were to patch the game you would have to download the patch before signing on.
We had an update. 1.05, that did not fix the glitch. Was something to do with matchmaking.
