I should add that a great deal of content has been released alongside the game as DLC. Most of this (except for the Warden's Keep) is included with the deluxe editions for every platform, and all of it is included with the Digital Deluxe Download edition, available now on Impulse, Steam, and D2D. It's $15 dollars more than the regular edition, which is cheaper than buying each piece of DLC individually.
Yeah, it's another money making scheme for EA, and the regular edition still has a ton of content. Nonetheless I drank the Kool Aid and purchased the DDD, and if you're interested you may want to do the same as I don't know how long it will be available.
Not interested in the PC version? Just as with Bethesda Softwork's blockbuster releases, Dragon Age has a full set of modding tools available, so for the PC version there will be a good deal of player generated content.
EDIT: Actually, surprisingly there are already quite a few user made mods already up on the Bioware site...
