I will have to check out the 3d control thing. I don't get how you can adjust the level of 3D. Looks cool though. I would buy it if they made a 3d rpg version of pokemon or a good zelda game.

It's already been confirmed that a Pokemon game for the 3ds is in development. Also, Ocarina of Time is being ported and supposedly looks amazing (release date: June 2nd).
Yeah I know what you mean. I probably would be waiting too except someone stole my DS and I really wanna play Pokemon Black/White. I think it would be a waste of money buy a regular DS now.
Also, this is a fun game to play at work: Whenever a parent comes in with a kid playing DS, I tell the kid about the new 3DS and how amazing it's gonna be and how I can't wait to buy one. The parent usually just glares at me. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR BRINGING YOUR MESSY KID HERE, BITCH.

I was wondering when the next Nintendo portable was coming out.
I also was wondering when the first holographic 3D display would be used in a consumer product. I'm impressed.
You adjust how far things pop out relative to one another.
Actually... does it work by holography? If it was true holography it should still appear 3D in videos because it should be able to pick up parallax shifts. Apparently it does not...
EDIT: I kind of figured it worked something like this, considering that you don't see a 3D image on a video camera:

The image is divided into strips, one going to the left eye and one going to the right eye. The 3D slider controls the width of the strips, more or less, and in that way control the difference in angle between the two images... I think.
