Yeah it feels much less tactical than DA Origins. I played ME2 but never played ME1 so I never got to see the difference. I was kinda in the heat of the battle and hardly bothered to pause unless I really needed to heal. Hope I don't get too caught up in the battle to not pause and strategize to combine some sexy spells. I guess at least it doesn't feel so slow paced like the first game. I was pausing constantly to set things in order, which kinda got tedious. So I guess it's more like the console game play now? I don't know, I've heard DA is slightly different on console, but I've never seen it in action.
Playing with the rogue was pretty badass though, totally felt like Kratos from God of War. I woulda downloaded it illegally (as I did with the first) but I didn't wanna wait and it was a really great demo to me. Only ended up spending $30 (technically $40) since on Amazon right now it's $50 for pre-order, and then I had a $20 Amazon gift card (that I spent $10 to get) so yah.
