Anyone else get in it? Im downloading it right now. I hope its not all buggy since it just came out though.

Yeah I got in it. Just found out an hour ago. I'll probably download it tomorrow as I got a test tomorrow that I shall be studying for.

I wasn't a big fan of the first game single player or multi for that matter. R2 is looking good though and I plan on banking whether it is worth the purchase off the beta.

My friend got it and he says he loves it. If I had a PS3 I would probably be doing the same thing but I'll be waiting for Gears of War 2.

I like this one much better thsan the first one. I didnt even like the first one online. But this one is sweet. They redid the controls too. They are more like CoD, which is good.

I got an e-mail on the first of this month from Sony telling me how to get a code. I signed up, and had a code in my e-mail today.

Well registration closes tomorrow. I've only just signed up, I don't play any PS3 games online and I'm not from the US. Not sure of my chances unless everybody gets one.

Just played my first game. Not bad. Kinda lame how much it takes to kill somebody though. I put a handful of shotgun rounds into somebody at close range and they didn't die. Lame.

Another cosmetic thing I don't like is the aiming view. In games like CoD4, you see the gun pulled up to "your eye" to look down the iron sights. In R2, it kinda just cuts to iron sights. Not a big deal but something worth noting.

I like it. But its no CoD4.

I hate how you have to shoot someone so much to kill them. Thats the main reason I didnt like Halo. I prefer when you have to be more careful cause a few shots can kill you.

Yeah headshots and precised placed body shots don't mean anything in this game. That's why I never liked the first games singeplayer. It didn't matter if you tried to take your time and aim for head shots, they don't go down.

For being on a server with 40 people, you never see more than like 8 people on screen at a time. I was looking forward to some huge ass battle.

I was in some 60 person games and it gets CRAZY. Try playing something besides TDM and Skirmish. Everyone is at teh objective.

So another thing I just noticed about the aiming feature is how useless it is. When you fire form the hip you're giving the same aiming reticule that you are when you "zoom". The only difference it makes is when you snipe. So what's the point. Unless it changes accuracy which I didn't happen to notice seems kinda useless.

Honestly, overall, I'm not that impressed. I didn't like the first game and this is looking to be about the same. Not a fan of having to shoot my entire clip into somebody with no reward. I'm hoping Killzone 2 will be awesome.
