Mr. Mills has been practicing for over 20 years, beginning at a small partnership doing
criminal defense work pursuant to a contract with the city of Renton. He later moved to
Reaugh, Fischnaller & Oettinger in Seattle, a boutique mid-sized firm, where he focused on
law enforcement and firefighter disability cases, along with plaintiff’s personal injury, civil
rights cases, and some environmental law work. In 1999 he opened a solo practice in
Tacoma working on high-conflict family law cases. Mr. Mills continues to focus on civil
litigation, appeals, family law, land use, bankruptcy, and other business litigation.
