I often tell people that my favorite movie of all time is Ed Wood. While it most likely is, I only say it's my favorite movie of all time because it's favorite movie as a filmmaker. But as a film aficiando, I'd have to say my favorite is a close tie between the original Night of the Living Dead and John Carpenter's The Thing.
