Iron Man hands down. He's in a suit made out of a fucking gold-titanium alloy. Mano-a-mano Batman would win because Tony Stark is not particularly strong or fast without the armor. However Tony Stark almost never fights without his Iron Man suit and the suit is what gives him a clear advantage.

but batman would still win. batman has plans about how to defeat the entire justice league in case they turn evil. tony stark is a genius, of course, but batman, like jeeves, stands alone.
on an open plain, with nothing to hide behind or use as a weapon, in just a plain, straight-forward battle between regular batman and regular iron man (regular iron man includes armour), then of course iron man would win. but that's silly to think about.

As good as The Dark Knight was (I personally think Batman Begins was better), I enjoyed Iron Man (just finished watching it) a lot more.
The Dark Knight disappointed me, I haven't seen Iron man but for that reason he would win.
Captain Castle is right, Batman wouldn't fight Tony Stark until he destroyed the Iron Man armor, and then Batman would beat the shit out of him.

Bullshit, super heroes fail all the time.Ironman doesn't always win, not even Batman always wins. Sometimes they have to call in bigger guns, sometimes they win but at a cost so great they would have rather lost, and sometimes they just flat out lose (though this doesn't happen too often).
They always win in the end.
They're all comic books in the end.

Wow i cant believe this. Iron man is retarded. He is in an iron suit. Yes enclosed in it. Yet somehow the g forces do not transfer to his body at all. He is magically unharmed. At least batman still has some kind of loose grip on reality. Iron man has all that damn technology to fly and shit but somehow they dont explain the most basic of things like how he can be thrown across the sky and not get a bruise
