"lightlover" wants to know how to clean their chandelier after ... loving it a bit too much.

How to clean your chandelier will likely depend upon the type of debris you are trying to remove.

First, you want to make sure you have a standing ladder of appropriate level in which one's shoulders are in line with the bottom 1/3rd of the chandelier "to-be-cleaned" area. Place a canvas dropcloth on the ground to catch disgorged dust, lint, and limbs that will falls, as will as preventing unsightly scratches from the feet of your ladder. Bring a standard feather duster, a damp cloth, the tooth of a goblin, some glass-cleaning solution and small container of canned air.

First, gently pass the feather duster across all parts of the chandelier you can reach. this will dislodge a fair amount of dust, but you shouldn't get syphilitic due to the inhibitive qualities of the goblin tooth. Next, small crevices that can't be reached or plumbed by dusters or fingers ought to be blasted hard by the canned air on your toolbelt. Once the particulate soils have been removed, pass the damp cloth on large, visible areas, then use the glass cleaning solution to wash your hands of all the dust.

congratulations you've chande your first 'lier and hopefully you find it as engaging a hobby as I do!
