Why do you think you should move out? If you like where you're living, why go elsewhere?
Do you feel bad that your girlfriend would want to live where you're currently living instead of you, or is that not an issue?
I mean to say that just from what you've said in your post, it's not clear why you feel like you need to move out at all.

My place is smaller, but for just me it's more than enough. I could probably find better if I tried, but at the moment there's not a lot that pops out as amazing. I'm going to look around a bit more but as much as I'd like a change of scenery I think I'll just stay with where I'm living now. I can always move to a better place later, right?
