Default Anybody had any personal experience steriods?

I've been reading up on Anabolic Steriods alot lately since my friend's been taking them. They have alot of potiential side effects but what doesn't anymore? My buddy takes the injections (shoots them in the side of his ass cheek) and I believe he does one injection a week(not sure exact dosage). I've been considering giving it a try. He said he'd throw me the first 2 shots free. I was hoping I could try it for awhile and either stop immediately if I didn't like it, or use it for a couple of months or something.. I know i'll shrink afterwards but he said if you continue working out after you stop you'll still lose a good bit but not all of it..

I really could use without the roid rage and acne though. Because this dude now said he does get rage when he gets mad. It's like when he gets mad he blacks out and hears about it later. Are you pretty much guaranteed bad roid rage or what?

I was asking for someone with experience because i've done research and they all list the same bad side effects, but I still welcome and encourage all opinions. Im a 21 year old male 6'1 185LB. I've worked out before but not in a couple of months. Of course if I did take them i'd hit the gym atleast every other day.

    Thanks for any help.

Well the reason that everyone lists the same bad side effects is because those are the side effects that you're likely going to get from steroid use. Also, I wouldn't recommend that anyone use steroids unless they've had at least two years of steady, consistent weight training. Honestly, just judging from what you've said here, I'd guess that you're going to seriously hurt yourself if you use them. I'd also be willing to guess that you haven't thought much about your pct, which is another thing that many people completely forget.

I guess what I'm getting at is that my advice would be stay natural, work hard, and do it the right way. If you do decide to juice, at least hold off for a while until you're back into a steady, solid routine, and do a whole lot of research on what kind of steroids you want to use to get the results you want, and what you're going to use for pct.

Steroids affect everyone differently. Just because your friend doesn't get roid rage doesn't mean you won't.

    Oh of course.

Eating too many carrots could potentially turn your slightly skin orange and probably make you poop more freely than most people.

That's obviously the same as the reprocutions from steroids.

I used steroids for about a month. Totally not worth it. It makes your skin gross, it makes your emotions hard to control, it makes your sex drive all wonky and weird, messes up your natural rhythm, it is awful. Sure, you put on a shitload of muscle really quick, but it isn't worth it for the side effects. Unless you are a competitive lifter or a bodybuilder there is really no point in using them anyway, as you have no time frame and can just build naturally to reach your goal. Of course, there are sports benefits, but you're pretty likely to get caught these days.

I'd say stay off the juice. The stuff is nasty, you'll hurt yourself if you don't know what you're doing, or you'll end up looking freaky. Unless you are a bodybuilder (which from your height and weight you are not) or a pro wrestler there is no point walking around looking like that.

Did you have any problems after you quit, withdraw acne etc? How long did it take for your emotions and everything to go back to normal? What exactly do you mean it made your skin gross?

It took me about three weeks to get back to a semblance of normalcy. I was really tired, my mood was actually worse than it was on steroids, and I was dizzy all the time. As far as the skin, first it got really dried out, then it got super oily and disgusting.

Famous WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit took steroids and he ended up killing his wife and son and then committed suicide all in his home after having a ROID RAGE. Don't do it.

Actually, that hasn't been confirmed. He had the brain of an 85 year old Alzheimer patient when they examined him.

He also had insanely high testosterone levels when they examined him.

Don't take steroids, I had a friend who recently just recovered from Jaundice that turned him yellow for 3 months. He looked like a giant oompa loompa, it was terrible.
