    Default Always feel fatigue

For some reason, I always feel tired. Even though I often wake up in the middle of the night, I usually get at least 8 hours of sleep, if not more. However, I rarely feel refreshed in the morning. For some reason, this sense of fatigue is even more acute at work, and at times it makes it very difficult to concentrate.

I'm pretty sure that this fatigue is partly due to stress and other related issues, but that may not be the sole reason. Has anyone had this before, and how have they dealt with it?

It was a while ago, but I had told my family physician of this problem. I had gotten bloodwork done for anemia and thyroid conditions, but neither of these turned up.

Do you exercise regularly or eat copious amounts of food?

Aren't you practically addicted to coffee? Sometimes when I drink a shitload of coffee constantly for like a week or two I get this but with a less healthy sleeping pattern. However, I'm a full blown insomniac and my sleeping pattern is terrible anyway.

I feel blasphemous for saying this but maybe try decaf for a week or two?

Also fuck you, you fag. I'm keeping my flames in this thread out of spite. I bet you're tired all the time because you're gay. I know that if I regularly took a dose of dique I'd feel pretty lethargic.

not that this thought hasn't crossed my mind. i may have to finally give in and try going caffeine free, but it will be hard

    came here to ask this.

    Do you snore?

Do you know if you stop breathing while you sleep?

maybe you should ask your doctor to have them do a sleep study on you.

Try exercising to boost your energy levels?

Studies show that exercise increases norepinephrine levels in your body, which norepinephrine is one of the factors that regulates your energy in your body.

None of us could ever hope to answer your sleep disorder question. It could be mattress, pillow, partner, lack of partner, room temp, blanket texture, mental condition, apnea, severe depression, moderate depression, worry about things, muscle pain, twitching, restless leg syndrome, iron deficiency anemia, other forms of anemia, caffeine addiction, caffeine withdrawl, subconciously indicating you sleep too much, not sleeping enough, too many drugs, not enough drugs, too much running, not enough running

for fucks sake get a sleep study done

Also there's a marked difference between fatigue and sleepiness. One means you want to sleep. The other means that you lack energy.

I have a similar problem: I get too well-slept. Even if i get only a few hours of sleep during the night, i feel refreshed and ready to go the next morning. I literally cannot remember a time when I've been "fatigued" or even "slightly tired" unless i stay up for like 48 hours, and even then, I can stave it off and feel great after 4 hours of sleep. strangest thing is, I don't exercise, eat well, or do anything healthy. Quite the opposite, in fact. I smoke cigarettes and do recreational drugs constantly, eat unhealthily/strange intervals, sit around all day, and yet, I wake up every morning feeling great, fit as a fiddle, I could literally jump up without any real "exercise" for months and run 4 miles without feeling a twinge of pain. It's insane!

Well, I guess it's not so much a problem as a crazy observation.

Anyway, good luck with your shit, scyle!
