Default So I'm caught up in a real life soap.

Okay, so two of my friends got hitched, and after two years of unhappy marriage, they broke up. Now being friends with both of them was still hard but it I did my best, talking and hanging out with both of them. Well, I had kinda lost touched with the husband and after texting to see if he wanted to hang out, he flew of the handle and told me flat out he never wanted to see me again.

Well I figured he thought I had "sided" with his ex or something and invited him over to talk it out but he refused. So now, after calling one of our mutual friends, I learn that he has somehow got it in his head the the reason his wife left him was all my fault. Honest to god, I have no idea how he came to this conclusion but apparently the sole blame is on my shoulders.

Now I don't know what to do. We have the same circle of friends and I don't want there to be a divide but all attempts to contact him just has him ignoring me. I'm not sure if this is a temporary thing, or what but it's starting to anger me that he won't even attempt to talk to me about this whole mess.

So now I'm really considering going over to his house one day and trying to catch him when he is home so we can get this straightened out. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not? On one hand, it might open up a dialogue but on the other hand I don't want to make things worst. Any advice on the subject would be great.

    Cool

I am having an affair with my best friend's wife right now and let me you tell you it was totally worth it. I am telling you, go for the pussy especially if it is guaranteed. Trust me man, if the dude is flying off the handle on you he ain't worth your friendship. Fuck him, but literally, fuck his ex-wife. He has no more affiliations with her now. If he gets mad at you for anything it ain't your problem for him wrecking himself like that. Be a man.

I would leave him a message, voicemail, email, or even letter explaining you opinion or whatever.
Failing that, just catch him irl and make him listen.

lol hmmm i wonder who you might be.

He's just being irrational and driven by anger. I'm sure you and his friends know that so after a while he'll stop soon enough. For now just keep attempting to contact, but please, don't let his actions anger you, that will just lead you to irrational decisions too. Just keep being the better person and attempt to contact, it's not like it's a waste of your time, i'm sure you can squeeze in minutes to call or email or any other suggestions ShitFace mentioned. Just as long as he doesn't pull a restraining order..

Write to him and say, "I am completely confused as to why you have cut me off - have I done something to offend you, or have you just decided for some reason that you prefer not to be friends with me because you're too good for me now? What on earth is going on. Talk to me.".
