That stands to reason. It's too bad that you have people like that around in your social circle. People like that get to high school and then stop developing socially and just stay shallow and petty instead of moving on to the next stage. I know it drives me crazy when I get sucked into situations like that. It's just so tiresome. I can definitely empathize with your predicament.
