Fishing day
Well I decided it was time to teach my boys how to fish. No not my nuts, the product of my nuts. Anyway we woke up at the crack of 7:30am and I woke the wife. You go get the bait and we will sleep some more. So around 9:00 we headed out. (Not what I was used to, the hook hit the water when the sun came up back in the day.) We got there and I demonstrated how to bait a cricket on the hook. Surprisingly I only had to bait my wife's hook once. Before I could get everyone rigged up we got a line tangle I had to deal with. This was a pretty much all day thing. Untangling lines, getting them unhooked from logs. Taking the blind eels off the hooks. We moved to a pier and the blind eels and hooking logs slowed a lot. I managed to make a few casts in between the tangles. I tied on a beetle spin and cast it a few times and got a fish. It was an okay brim but sadly it was the only one caught by us today. I was so hoping my kids would get their first fishes today.

What were you fishing for?

Its spelled bream. But its pronounced brim.
Bream arent really a certain species of fish, just a general term for panfish. I catch a shitload of them in my dads pond.

Exactly. This one was really a sun fish. Kind of yellow. Blue gill are the ones I like catching because they get bigger.

Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up.
