Competitions are brilliant

About a month or two ago I went on a competition spree. I figured I'd never won a competition before and it's all statistical really so I entered a tonne of them over the space of a few days and then forgot about it (I will add at this point that when I was about 16 I won a years worth* of free cinema passes but that was just because my dad worked at The Mirror and rigged it my way).

Now, after all that time I just won the gayest prize ever.

Two tickets to Never Forget - The Take That Musical.

I don't even remember entering such a competition. Oh well. Free shit is free shit.

Take That were an insanely successful British boyband in the 90s (they've made an equally successful comeback of late but that's irrelevant).

and who would want to act in it?

No wonder they're giving tickets away.

I'm pretty sure the answer to most of those questions is 'the gays'.

Take That are the New Kids on the Block of the UK.

Unlike NKOTB, Take That actually got somewhere with their comeback music.

Their comeback isn't entirely terrible. It's a lot better than most pop music around.

This reminded me of the episode of Scrubs where JD admits he sucks at everything.

UPDATE: I left after 10 minutes.

You have to be happy, jolly, homosexual and/or female to enjoy such an event.

that is what you have to be to actually enjoy said musical. And it's obviously going to be horrible when the are giving out tickets for free.

i was visiting a french friend of mine at his parents' place, when his parents related a story of how they were driving through Ontario, and his mom, not knowing any english, was looking at all the "For Sale" signs and was very, very confused as to why all these houses were advertising that they were dirty

If you ever get a chance a good music is The Nightman Cometh. It has a great cast of characters, some hilarious comedy(the Ninja Cat-Man was hilarious), pedophilia innuendos, a hot sex scene, and a twist ending, along with great music!
