I was going to see it but then decided to see Tron: Legacy in 3D instead.
I like the previews for Black Swan. I'll probably download it, er I mean rent it when it comes out on dvd.
There's a decent screener of Black Swan floating around on the internet so I might download and watch it this week. I like Aaronofsky a lot but I'm not a huge fan of his directing style so I hope that doesn't annoy the shit out of me.
it is the best
One of my roommates come back from seeing it opening night and is still raving about it.
I loved both Pi and Requiem For A Dream quite a lot, I just think he overdirects. He's stylistic to the point where it can detract from the story he's trying to tell. He's certainly not the only director guilty of this (I'm looking at you post-Pulp Fiction Tarantino!).
Other people may disagree with me, but I think this film is mostly free of that. The acting feels pretty natural, as does the "walking camera" cinematography. The only straight French ballet director in the world is a quite a bit affected in his manner, but then again he's a French ballet director.
However, I would've liked it if Natalie Portman more often wore another expression than pouty terror.
I think that's just her face.
she was supposed to be terrified
Just got back from seeing it. Mila and Natalie's lasbian scene was the cherry on top of the icing :allecto:
The videos of the fat bitch putting on makeup the RS posted are all the Black Swan I need.
The best movie I have even seen in Black Hawk Down. Amazing Movie!!! Our soldiers sacrifice their today for our tomorrow. They are our real heroes.
lol fail spammer fails.
this film was fucking intense, I don't think I was relaxed for even one second out of the 1 hour 40 minutes it ran
great stuff
it was pretty good
