i'm too old to start a new character
doesn't take that long to level them up
i'm a level 60 dual-class bard/sorceror with an improvised weapons feat
this thread made me want to play diablo 2 again. sad face
I can't believe that a 10 year old game+its expansion still costs $40.
The price on the Diablo Battlechest hasn't ever gone down in price. Amazing.
I want to play it badly, but I don't know if I can justify its cost.
$40 for 10 years of fun
that's a penny a day
Yes... I doubt I will get quite that much play out of it :|
Ok I'm buying it. Crap.
$40 for 20 minutes with coq and 20 years of regret
Lololololol
But seriously, Diablo II as packaged in the Diablo Battle Chest was one of the 10 best selling games in the US in the first quarter of 2010 according to some market research company called NDP Group.
I think that's what they said... in 2008 it was the 19th best selling game, with the Orange Box as the 20th.
acct. name is windigo
guys
it was worth it.
what server are you on coq, USEast?
i can't decide between a sorceress or an assassin. i'm always a mage in every game, but the assassin has mage-like traps and finishers. also there is admittedly something satisfying about watching things die via stabbings rather than by fireballs or ice bolts that are all tied to mana.
also i'm super impressed that blizzard is still updating the game after10 and now going on 11 years.
I can't find my D2 keys/disks :(
i'm on USEast
I suggest the assassin. the sorceress is really bland to play, tbh
but she is also one of the easiest to outfit for magic finding, next to the necromancer
the assassin is much more hands on, depending on the type you play
trap assassins tend to just boost skills and are basically mages, but the tiger strike/dragon kick assassin is hilariously awesome. charge up with 3 hits on tiger strike for a bonus 1400% dmg and multiply that by 300% with suitably levelled explosive kick with a radius. throw in a cobra strike for 80% life and mana leech on that dmg.
i mean there are 2 or 3 others, depending on if you're going pve or pvp but you know
I think everything you just said explains why Diablo II is still being bought and still being played and modded by so many people :p
For now I'm going PvE. And yeah sounds like I'll be sticking with my assassin then.
I believe I'm scyld in the game.
I just installed D3..... i wish :\.
