I bought it when it first came out, played it to level 30, then got bored.
I sux cox
Yeah I mean online.
It's free to download and play now.
I own it, played to level 30 and got bored. Been thinking about dusting it off, though, just as something to do.
Can you only get to level 30?
yeah, 30 is the level cap.
yeah right like i'm gonna pay :tenbux: to be a green lantern
I paid
Now I have 6 character slots.
CHYEAHHHH BOIIII
welp the leveling experience at least is pretty fun.
and it looks like their freemium model is actually pretty fair--i read that you can basically do everything in the game if you spend $5. of course for things like more character slots and for making certain tasks easier I'm sure they'll get you to spend more, but at least those costs seem "optional."
While I'm waiting for my SWTOR early access invitation, I'll play this again, I guess.
I bought lantern powers and now I have 6 character slots and some other shiz
I'm playing, I have a level 30 hero Ice Tank.
Any ideas on how to choose weapons for a given power set???
My main guy is a Gadget hero. Because there are hardly any guildelines either in the game or on the official site, I decided that the bow looked neat enough.
I guess I was lucky and chose an appropriate enough Controller weapon, since it provides at least some Vitalization. But is this alright? Also, I suppose for leveling it makes less of a difference, if I'm not doing Alerts.
Healer you want to typically keep a distance,(Gun,bows, rifle) As for controller I typically see most utilize bows, however I have seen occasional close up weapons.
DPS and Tank just close up weapons.
Ah ok.
Actually, the funny thing about bows is that can be used as effective melee weapons. A lot of their skills are at close range.
One suggested build I saw for Gadgets was a melee-bow build. I'm too low level to get all the powers in the build, but I have most of the skills, and it's pretty damn effective.
Also, now I stay in controller mode constantly and never switch to DPS. The power restoration makes it far better.
That's how I am I consistantly remain in tank mode with Winter ward and my other ice shield cast while dealing out heavy melee combos. I'm less effective in DPS, since my defense is literally double my offensive stat.
The build's are generally right I suppose that's why I always see bow and gadgets paired together, course the majority of controllers are Hardlight now and just spam the claws.
