Games on a budget.
So today, I am finally going to get my PS3 (about fuckin' time.) Anyways, after bills, the cost of the system and a couple of adult sites that require a credit card, I'm gonna be broke. So I was thinking that getting a blockbuster card would be a good idea because I could play games without dropping 50+ per PS3 game. However, I haven't been inside a blockbuster in five years so I don't know if it would be worth it?
Yay? Nay? Netflicks?

I'd recommend http://www.gamefly.com due to the fact that I don't think netflix does games. Also, gamefly is decently cheap.
Or, you can buy a couple of games, then when you're done, use a site like http://www.goozex.com or http://www.gamefly.com

I've heard Gamefly has a horrible turnaround rate. Games take a week or so at a time, and it's just generally a hassle and not very cost conscious. That's only from what I've heard in recent news, however I don't have any personal problems with them. I'd check if they have a trial period to see if it's worth it first.
This is the article that caught my eye on the subject:

Blockbuster is pretty expensive. It was like $20 for me to rent Falloutboy 3 for 2 rental periods.

I did Gamefly once and regretted. It's just the fact that you have unlimited rentals, you feel like you have to play the games when you get them. I felt like such a nerd and my social life when pretty down hill. Up to you though, it was still fun but I prefer buying games. It just doesn't feel right when you play CoD or Madden but you don't actually own it and know you have to return it eventually.
As for games on a budget, Orange Box makes a great buy, 20$ with 5 great games.
Also, add me up PSN butnie
