I remember, back at LWS, when we had style points. It was a real fun way of getting people involved to post more. You may argue that people posted more bullshit to get their points up, but that wasn't always the case.
Any chance of anything like that emerging back here?
We don't need them and I'm pretty sure most of us don't want them. Besides, the forum is far too small/featureless to warrant having them back. Plus we're far too elitist already.
Also what would we name them? We're not LWS so style points would be redundant. Casual points/Discourse points sounds retarded.

I think a better use of time would be to bring back post voting and let that tie directly into rep. Which is still pointless and stupid, but at least it wouldn't be "bring back SP when we have nothing to even spend SP on".

That could work, swap the green bars for length in inches

just swap the images for bits of a ruler, and if someone is in the red, make it a red-stained ruler that measures your e-vagina

guys any application involving real money is off the table, but implementing some perks like post editing, avatar editing, etc. shouldn't be too difficult, and if earning points is based off of post voting rather than just posting, there might be a semblance of balance to it
