Set in Los Santos, possibly as Tommy Vercetti 25 years after vice city.
I have recurring shivers right now.

I was pretty disappointed. LA is perhaps the single most boring, superficial and uninspiring city I can think of. London would have been much better.
Well they've done london already, as have they already done LA.
I thought san andreas is the best gta so far, and vice city is a close 2nd....so the main char from vice, in los santos?
Sounds ideal to me.
edit: also i would say london is just as superficial, boring and uninspiring tbh. maybe even more so.
schwing
London was good on the ps1, but you didn't get a feel for the city like you did since GTA3.
But Vice City was the best by far, and Vercetti is a great fuckin character.
Sailor Jack and Anonymous D need to get out of this forum
Nah, san andreas was the best....vercetti was good, but cj was better.
gonna be kickin rad
Can't wait to mod the shit out of this game, GTA 4 with mods looks better then this.
I'm going to commit a little blasphemy here: I didn't really like GTA IV
Hopefully GTA V will be better, but I actually have higher hopes for Saints Row the Third at the moment. If GTA V is really a callback to Vice City then I'll definitely check it out, but I'm not wooed yet.
gta 4 was good but not the best.
i don't see how people could not like it, although the realism wasn't to everyones tastes...
saints row is a cheap gta knock off for kids with lots of gimmicks
I actually like the whimsical take on the game type Saints Row pulls off (the first one anyway, the second one was awful). Srs bsns is all well and good, but sometimes I just want to call an airstrike on a group of prostitutes then fly away in a jet.
I didn't like GTAIV. I played Just Cause 2 and found that extraordinarily fun. There were parts of JC2 that were great and made me not want to put the controller down. I haven't played any of the Saints Row games or other contemporaries of the open sandbox genre, but I've watched friends play some of these games and they looked interesting. If anything, I hope GTAV developers take some cues, fuck it just steal ideas, from other games and really make them better while keeping that GTA feel.
San Andreas was fucking terribad.
If I wanted to play the Sims, I'd play the fucking Sims.
