League of Legends in a Taipei gaming center and dropped dead, most likely of a heart condition. None of the thirty or so other gamers in the cafe noticed the corpse in their midst for nine hours.
Reportedly, Rong-yu was sitting upright in his chair with his hands still on the keyboard. While his death was most likely caused by an underlying condition, according to the Chinese media, extenuating circumstances may have included the cold temperatures in the building and a lack of movement from Rong-yu -- staying perfectly still for long periods of time can cause blood clots.
This is a PSA for all gamers: Get up and stretch your legs every once in a while; go grab a Hot Pocket or something. Also: maybe check in on your fellow human beings every so often. Don't make a huge effort or anything, but make sure they're not, you know, dead or anything.

I think most of us have read these stories of people dying from prolonged game playing or cases were parent(s) neglected their children. Going unnoticed for nine hours roused up a morbid laugh out of me and concerns about how much that sucks.
