but it's gotta be skrulls, right? they shapeshift, and
a- it explains the avengers fighting each other in the trailer... and why thor doesn't grind cap and stark into dust
b- it is great drama fodder for a film in which the main conceit (in joss's terms) is a bunch of superheroes who just "shouldn't be a team".
In Joss we trust.
I've heard that it's not Skrulls because Skrulls are part of the Fantastic Four movie franchise which is currently owned by Fox. The most popular rumor seems to be that the aliens are loosely based on Skrulls but will be called something else.Quote:

This is freaking amazing and I'm posting this right away. Interesting to note that Fantastic Four is owned by Fox. They're Marvel aren't they, so shouldn't they be owned by Disney?
The characters are owned by Marvel (which is owned by Disney) but the movie rights are currently owned by Fox. The X-Men movie franchise is also owned by Fox while the Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider movie franchises are own by Sony.Quote:

also, i happened to notice that in the fight in the jungle, iron man is wearing the suit from the second movie with the triangular reactor, but when he steps out of his suit piece by piece earlier in the trailer it's a new, again circular reactor.
seems odd, timing wise. just something i noticed.
I hope they get Sean Connery in the bear suit again.
