I've been wanting to get a close to medium range scope setup for my .308 for a while now. I finally broke down and ordered it.
I have a Millet DMS-1 that will be here on Monday, but I got the mount today. It's a VERY nice mount. It's an American Defense Recon mount.

I just got the scope, but I like it so far. I took it outside, and it seems pretty clear, but the illumination is pretty much useless during the middle of the day, but the reticule is still super clear and easy to see. I like the donut reticule for getting on target fast. Im going shooting tomorrow, so Ill be sure to give you a range report.

Do-nut is best. Won't cover the target at a longer distance. From the first post I thought you were putting reflex sites on it.
I like the stubby foregrip. Very nice.
I have stubbys on all my rifles. I dont see the point of a full length VFG since I dont use the bottom half.
The gun with the full length VFG is my friends.
