Finally got internet at my apt

Well after I broke up with my crazy ex, I moved out of the house we had and into an apartement. That was over a month ago. I just got internet hooked up a few hours ago. I see I didnt miss much.

I was about to make a "I'm not the poorest" joke, but it seems I still am.

Comcast is like a bad ex-gf that booty-calls you at 10pm (she is a lightweight) only to be like "oh hey, I see this is your peak internet using time so that connection you pay for that was 4 MB/s an hour ago is now gonna be 10 KB/s for the rest of the night, oh and by the way I have syphilis"

No idea if it is some kind of weird torrent throttling or predictive throttling or what but never fails, every damn time I sit down to use the computer I have good speeds for a while and then it turns to shit after a few minutes. Just bought a new wireless router recently, and have tried connecting the connection right to my computer but it is on Comcast's side not mine. I've used them for over a decade at various locales, so I know better than to call them because they will just tell me it is a personal problem on my end but they still want to snuggle up close and not break up quite yet.

Fuck you and your monopoly, I'm blowing this popsicle stand and trading in this fat ex-gf with syphilis for Charter, a drunk ex-heroin shooter who robs her friends when they go on vacation to support her habits. Not a lot of great choice but it is what it is, I'm rolling the dice here, folks.

I also use the Comcast, had to go with business class because the roommate and I download a shit ton and play Eve on the regular. When this shit starts getting slow, I'll switch to something else, that costs the same and gives me the same problems.
