Need help with a bug bite and whether I should go to the doctor.

Sorry, not sure if this is the right forum but it's worth a shot. So basically I got bit by something a two nights back and yesterday it was sorta red, itchy and getting a bit swollen. This morning I wake up and the whole underside of my forearm is swollen and the redness has spread from my wrist to my bicep, but just the underside. It's slightly itchy and irritated, but surprisingly less so than yesterday when the swelling and redness wasn't as bad.

It's Sunday so it'll be a pain in the ass to get to a doctor, so I thought I'd check and see if anyone here has an idea about what it could be and if it's worth going to the hospital. It doesn't hurt, but I'm just concerned about the redness and swelling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That doesn't sound too good, why not call your doctor's office afterhours number or a local urgent care center and talk to a nurse to see if they think you need to come in today or if you can wait. We're just folks on the internet, you don't want to take medical advice from us. Call a doctor.
