Guys, I'm shutting down Zoints

I got rid of the server Zoints (and CD) was on, because it was running me $140 a month, and it was 5 year old hardware.

The new server I set up (that CD is running on) is a VPS via Linode, and is costing me about half that.

Zoints is having some serious issues, since it wasn't programmed for php 5.3, or much less, 5.4 (which this server is running). Also, the real problem is that the massive amount of rewrites that it does is having issues with Apache 2.4, and I don't really want to spend the time fixing them.

So, whenever they shut the old server off, Zoints is going away. It was supposed to be 4 days ago, but who knows.

CD does not deserve a VPS

Isn't it pretty much the last "living" thing from LWS that actually came into existence during LWS' lifetime? But yeah it's been dead (except for spambots) for years and the original concept seemed half-baked so yeah.

To describe it as half-baked is being quite generous and an affront to undercooking chefs

I have come to rely on zoints for all of my socialising needs

my friends contact me on zoints when they want to talk to me about their favourite things

when I plan to go outside and to the cinema with my close personal friends and my family members I arrange to do that using zoints.com

sometimes I talk to people I know through zoints on zoints until 8pm in the evening and then I go to bed because it is late and I am tired then

and when I get sad people will no longer see me telling them I am sad on zoints and they will no longer be able to say it is ok hydro everything will get better we are all here for you on zoints

I think my life is going to be very lonely without zoints

I do not know if I am going to be ok

I forgot to change the DNS servers for daitengu.com too, so that's been running on the old server :p

It only took them 3 months to realize a server was running and no one was paying for it.

Everyone should try Zoints out. I've been a member at David's main site (which turned into a guinea pig for Zoints https://theadminzone.com/styles/defa...foro/clear.png ) for about 1 and 1/2 years now. The forums are great, and Zoints makes the internet a lot better in every way.
