I bought this mauser for steal, but bubba had been there first, and cut the stock down.
Got this stock, it came from a Yugo refurbed German k98. I think it looks sharp, and if you disagree then buzz off.

That thing is ugly as hell...just kidding. Vz24, I take it? I've got one of those and a G24(t), which the Germans made by adding some Kar98k parts to captured vz24 rifles.
I've been off a gun buying kick for a while, and most of mine sit in storage. Old military rifles have always interested me, though. If only they could talk...
It's an actual model k98, post war the arsenal at Brno started making them instead of the Vz24. Although there were a couple of 24's that were made with the bent bolt handle, the winter trigger guard is the biggest giveaway. Although, the furniture was the only major difference between the 98 and the 24.Quote:
