I'm really looking forward to being disappointed by this movie.

Sooo any thoughts on the movie now that it's out?

I enjoyed it. Even though it was pretty much A New Hope. I'm more enjoying people's own theories about who Rey is.

My favourite theory (I'm not sure if it's from the books or not, I just had someone tell me it) is

Rey's parents went on a mission with Luke to find the Jedi temple that had a Force Tree in the courtyard. They had brought their son and the mother was pregnant (with Rey obvi). The brother is Poe. Rey was given a piece of the force tree when she was sent to Jakku and this can (apparently) be seen in the ATAT she calls her home at the beginning of the movie. This is apparently why she is so force sensitive.

There's just so many different possibilities though. I mean why does Anakins light saber respond to her so well? Would any saber do that?

I mean there's probably a bunch of stuff I don't know about.. so let's discuss!
