Ok I'm probably only going to get one FPS this season so I can't decide. I already have COD 4 and I hear the community will still be strong even with COD 5. But, i hated Halo 3 when I played it at a friends and I heard Resistance 2 is awfully similar, which would you get if you were me?
CoD 5.. I got the beta, it's pretty cool. Pretty much the same thing as 4 though.
I liked CoD4 online was fantastic. Wasn't impressed with the first Resistance and the Beta for R2 didn't change my opinion a whole lot.
I wouldn't say R2 is particularly similar to Halo 3. As for CoD5....I'd get R2 over that simply because it feels like a rehash of CoD4 in a WW2 setting and I prefer the modern era over another WW2 game.
I would only suggest CoD5 because after you beat the single player campaign, there is a mini game that can be co-op called NAZI ZOMBIES!!! Ain't no joke yo.
I mainly like Co op modes, you think Resistance 2's co op is stronger than the zombie mode? I picture zombie mode would get old in a week or so of playing it.
R2 is more like Halo.
CoD5 is more like awesome.
