Adapter is finicky; it does not like my Sony Vaio SD slot, but works in my Canon camera.

I've been wanting to get one of these for my cell phone. When you say finicky do you mean that if you jiggle it, it works or that it never works on your sony?

did you buy this on woot for like $4 a couple weeks ago?

Finicky as in I never got this specific adapter to work with my Sony.

If I put the card in a different adapter, it works.

Using the stick with the included adapter in my camera works.

Most phones only accept 2GB.

Maybe you're lucky though.

It's a brand new rumor gay type phones. I might stick with 2 to be safe. I just need it to take naked pictures of the internetts I just boinked.

The Rumor accepts up to 4GB, and I'm pretty sure that 4GB only comes in SDHC format which would mean your phone accepts SDHC. So this should work with your phone.
