The New Cure Album

I haven't managed to find the time to pick it up yet (uni exam period) however, I have been hearing a few mixed reports about it.

One of the main complaints seems to be the production values and the fact that it just sounds like more of the same old Cure we've been hearing for years.

Does anyone here have it? If you do, can you give me an honest opinion?



(Oh, and impressions of the latest Bloc Party album would be greatly appreciated too) :)

Not heard the new Cure album. Not too interested to be honest. They've not been good for ages.

New Bloc Party album felt like my ears had been raped. Just awful.

by "same old Cure" you'd have to specify because they have had so many different sounds

i haven't listened to all of it, "Underneath the Stars" is probably the best song and "Freakshow" is contagious
i expect that it will grow on me like most of their other albums
