Punisher Warzone.

Let me start off by saying that the Punisher Warzone was my favorite Punisher series and, even as a die hard fan, this movie impressed me. Its a shoot 'em up, testosterone packed gorefest and really, I wouldn't have it any other way. I had my doubts about the Punisher being played by a brit, but Ray Stevenson delivered. He brought the gritty, bloody anti-hero to life with, in my humble opinion, great success.

My biggest beef with this movie was the role of Pitsy, who, in the comic, was a nearly unstoppable freakshow who held his own against Frank Castle. The role of freakshow in this movie was Loonybin Jim, the brother of Jigsaw. I gotta say, the art of psychopath acting was kicked up several notches thanks to Heth Leger in the Dark Knight, but Douglas Anthony "Doug" Hutchison was fantastic.

So yeah, I recommend this movie big time.

I agree wholeheartedly. It was gory and awesome. There were bullets and rockets and faces being punched through. Looneybin Jim was perfect. I thought Jigsaw was a little tame, but *shrug*. I love that outfit he wears at the end, and I love the walk he and LBJ do near the end. I was cracking up during that montage.

The Spirit does look cool, but reviews so far say it is terrible.

Also, it would be wicked awesome if they made a movie faithful to the Maxx. I doubt we'll ever see that though.

I liked MAX but there was way too much gay/incest/sodomy sex to be my favorite. Then again, if they added Barricuda into ANY film, he would probably make the top ten greatest villains list.

How? The actor who played Castle had like one facial expression, John Travolta was the biggest pussy as a villain ever and the fight scenes were just absurd. I mean, I respect your opinion and all, but that movie was terrible.

I didn't even want to watch this one. The first Punisher movie was lame and this sequel is even lamer. Even the "unknown" cast was a lame choice.

Thomas Jane was an amazing punisher, and im sad that he didn't return to play in the latest one. I liked the overall feel of the new one though, the rocket blasting the dude in mid air, and when the cop was calling backup, only to have the punisher shoot the guy in the face with the sawed off was perfect. Wayne Knight playing Micro was kinda strange, because I remember him as a little kid in the comics, but he did really well.

Also the spirit was good for nerds because it stayed true to the comics, though not a great movie movie because nobody understood it, or its humor.

Micro wasn't a little kid in the comics. Micro's son (who was in like 5 comics before he got killed) was in his late teens

I'll just be goddamned if you're gonna insult the amazing casting and acting surrounding Mr knight in Warzone ;)

He might have made a comment about missing microchip or something. Interestingly enough in the MAX series he fucking blows of Micros head (As seen in a flashback in the game)
