Tonight, my gauntlet begins.

I am not sure either I am a nice guy or just a push over, but somehow the only other person at work who can do my job is going back home for the holidays. So, beginning tonight I will be working 18 days straight, eight and a half hour shifts. The plus is my X-mas check is going to be HUGE but the bad news is I am going to be clocking in 140+ hours.

I am a bit worried. Not because it's a particularly hard job, but because every night I have a few hours of downtime which I don't know how to spend. The boredom is probably going to kill me. That is why I come to you, CD, in hopes that you can help ease my burden. What entertainment can you suggest for me? What movies should I watch? Are there any TV shows that you would recommend? Hell, should I even pick up a new hobby that I can do at the work place?

Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

First and foremost, if you don't have StumbleUpon for your web browser, then get it. That's enough to keep someone with an internet connection entertained indefinitely.

For movies, I'm sure you've seen all the recent amazing ones, but here's a list of some you may have yet to see (off the top of my head that I recommend):

Ed Gein (if you're interested in seeing into the life of one of the sickest killers in history).

Also purepwnage.com has episodes that delve into the life of a pro gamer. It's a pretty sweet show that feels real, but it's scripted and quite hilarious (they get much better, but they're all worth watching).

Also if you're a gamer, then you should probably check out Illusion of Gaia for the SNES. Odds are you've never heard of it, but it's certainly worth your time. It is like a highly upgraded Secret of Mana.

Entourage is quite addicting as far as television shows go, and Heroes is also fun to watch. I hear Lost is good, but I could never get into it. I've been watching lots of South Park recently at southparkstudios.com, it's legal so it has commercials but they account for much less time than if you were to watch it on Comedy Central.

I'm pretty much a master at wasting time, so just ask if you want more ideas.

Damn, Mad Pino Rage. I'm astounded that one man has mastered procrastination and time wasting! Thank you for all the suggestions and I am sure to do each and every one of these suggestions over the course of the next few weeks.

Also, I've seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and it's fanfuckingtastic. I wish there were more films like this and Lucky Number Sleven.

Rent all the movie series that have four or more movies in them and watch them.

See Harry Potter, Star Wars, JAMES BOND, Scary Movie, Saw, Star Trek, Ernest, Friday the 13th, Godzilla, Alien, Batman, Indiana Jones, Rambo, Lethal Weapon, Rocky, Die Hard, The Karate Kid, Jaws, Monty Python, Chucky, Leprechaun, Police Academy, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Highlander, Puppet Master, etc.

Why would he be doing that during his work hours? According to my rough math it comes out to 153 hours of work and 279 hours of non-work. Though shit, may as well just include another hour after that and make it a round 280 hours of non-work. Either way, he can use that time.

Seeing the numbers of my work schedule does little to cheer me...But oh well! I have come up with a reasonable goal on how to spend my work time hours! Though I have jotted down every movie suggestion (Thanks peoples, btw) I have also decided that I will conquer Mario. During my time spent at work I will attempt to be every single Mario game that is on emulators for my latop. My list thus far (in order).
