A 3 day old baby in Colorado Springs has a foot growning in its brain. Doctors also found muscle tissue, teeth and intestines growing in the folds of the brain. The baby is alive and well.
The foot was discovered immediately after the baby's birth, and doctors took it for a tumour. The doctor who discovered it said: "It looked like the breach delivery of a baby coming out of the brain."
It is not known what caused the abnormality.

As they also explained in the article, occurrences of fetus in fetu like this could either be parasitic twins or teratomas, a type of tumor that sometimes has a high degree of differentiation and can develop into limbs or torsos in inappropriate places...
