This was a bad year for movies. None of the studios wanted to take a risk. Ironman was enjoyable but besides that the rest were lame.
Hotel Rwanda was such a great and sad movie.

5. The 2nd Star Trek Trailer (run it back to back as many times as I've seen it and you have a full movie that is better than any other movie I saw in theaters this year not on this list).
I'm really looking forward to a couple years from now when the next Iron Man comes out. The first one was good, but it is really great in that the 2nd one can be amazing. Just like how Batman Begins was an amazing setup for the movie to follow.

Gran Torino doesn't make the list because Clint Eastwood and his cookie cutter Oscar bait that gets release on the last day of every year is starting to piss me off just out of principle. God, Children of Men was NOT that amazing.
Never said it was amazing, but it was better than most of the tripe I've seen recently. I'm a little slow on catching movies, so I only saw it late this year, and I was just amazed by how well choreographed the steady-cam shots were. The movie was very well done, maybe not amazing, but very well done.Quote:
