Music video playlist

I'm starting a meant-for-television show called Violet. It's 30 minutes with nothing but music videos. My dream is to open a television station and the only thing playing on it would be music videos (and maybe commercials). Nothing else though. No dumb VJs, no reality shows, no interviews, just music videos 24/7.

Back when I was a kid we had channels like that. I miss those days.

MTV still had other crap besides music videos back in the day.

Wasn't The Box just music videos of all genres? It sucked when they got rid of it.

I never heard of The Box, but after reading the Wikipedia article, it sounds like what I want. The UK still has The Box but the line-up also includes "other music-related programming".

I'd like for someone to actually watch my video and give me feedback.

performance videos like "starlight" and that symmetric one i generally do not watch again even with fireworks, unless the band has a captivating style or they're actually playing

the best videos tend to be ones in which the artist doesn't appear at all

The UK still has lot's of channels like the one you're describing. In fact, the only one's which aren't like that are the MTV/VH1/4music channels.

I'll watch the video later, I'm watching something else at the moment.

Other than having to listen to Starlight, I'm amused. I also like the pink panda style violet banner. :D

if you made a line-up of all crazy visually-artistic videos, i would enjoy that quite a bit

as it is, i don't like watching bands making sexy faces into the camera as they lip synch to their music

EDIT: if you live in NY, they have a couple of rap video shows that come once or twice a week called VideoMusicBox and The Bridge.

Have some like decade themed episodes like 80s and 90s.

Well most rap does suks. I have confidence in you though so I believe that you can make include some good videos.
