I already know Im getting a gun, or gun related stuff. So make me suggestions. I usually get around $400-500 back.
If I got some stuff for my AR it would be a .22 conversion, and the Troy BUIS that I have been drooling over.
Or I could get an M1 Garand, a Glock, or a Springfield XDm, and Ive been thinking about getting a MAC10 before they are illegal.
Why a Glock? If you don't mind my asking.
Because they work.
Fair enough, but they've always felt kind of cheap in my hands.
This would be my pick, I'm thinking about picking up an XDm or an XD40 when I get my tax return. I had an XD9 with a 15 rd. magazine that I enjoyed very greatly because of the comfort factor and decent accuracy for a 4" barrel. They're really pretty great guns.Quote:

I want to get something myself. I should get about $8k back, but will likely just pay off bills and replace the flooring in the house. But, you never know, I still stand to make about $3000 when I move my household goods.
Right now the vintage market is soft since everybody is buying up guns that are likely to be banned. EBRs do not interest me in the least so I see it as an opportunity to snag some good deals on some classic revolvers. I have been wanting a vintage 3 1/2 inch S&W M27-2 or older, they used to be an $800 gun, but can easily be had for 5-600 in today's market.
Go with an MPA MAC clone before they're banned. .22 kits can come later.

Shockingly, I've seen proposals that would classify even the venerable Garand as an "assault weapon" so if you've got a hankering for that model, now might not be a bad time to snatch one up. If you're more interested in an investment than something to keep for yourself, I'd suggest anything that looks scary. Depending on your return, maybe a Barret or Armalite .50BMG.
