So this is where everyone went after LWS huh? It's good to see a lot of you that I remember from back in my LWS days.
Could someone fill me in as to what happened? From what I remember it was down for like a year, then was up for a couple of days and now the URL is non-existent. It was getting pretty lame near there anyway, I hope the new CD is what LWS used to be like.
I guess the new owner shit the bed, is David still around at all?
We have a search feature that will enable you to see the 25 other threads just like this. :)
David posts quarterly here. Niel was terrible. That is about it.

I just wrote a pretty big chunk of post before realising you were around when Niel took over, so I'll just shorten it and fill you in from there. I think LWS went down in May, or at least went into that strange vegetative state with the news updates once every few months. This site was set up at the same time and Tengu sent out a bunch of emails using a backed up copy of the LWS mail list, letting people know we'd found our way here. I guess you must've missed the memo that time around.
CD was up for a few months before collapsing due to some kind of hard drive failure and was eventually restarted from scratch. TGO was around during the original CD, but he didn't really appear much. There's an account named David here now, although I have no idea if it's actually him or not.

The david account posts like a faggot so I assume it's TGO.
I mean he's largely to blame for this mess there's no sense letting him off the hook because he found an even dumber scapegoat.
Thanks Hydro. Yeah I remember when Neil took over. He seemed pretty dumb, but after all those lame-ass code reds, it wasn't too much of a change.
So did he spend all that money to invest in LWS only to let it bomb? What kind of revolutionary changes could have possibly taken 9 months to implement. what a terrible investment.
Yep, pretty much. There was a bit of activity a few weeks ago and an entirely different art style, which suggested he may have sold it again. Although there's no chance he made his money back, so we can all be cheerful about that.Quote:
