I mean are you serious? I was kinda excited to watch it this year and was just blown away about how stupid and rigged it is. It was basically just everyone slurping on Robinson and Howard's dicks. Howard getting 2 50s was fucking stupid first of all. Robinsons first dunk was a shitty version of the one smith did first (yet somehow he scores higher than smith) and the 2nd one jumping off the nigs back is something most high school basketball players could do.
I agree with you, it's been a joke since they started not only allowing, but forcing the players to use props and other players in the contest. It was much better back in the day when they, well, judged players on how well they could dunk. Now it's just a circus and whoever puts on the best show for the crowd will win, even if their dunk isn't that spectacular.
On a side note the 3-point shootout was laughable this year as well. I'm not e-bragging or anything because I'm really not that great at basketball, but I'm pretty sure that even I could knock down more than 9/25 threes. I mean wasn't 18 or 19 the high score, including the striped balls?
I think the highlight of the entire night was seeing Dan Majerle knocking down shots again. That was actually quite nice.
I really think Kane got screwed with his alley oop, the pass from Undertaker was botched and it could've been performed much better.
On the otherhand, Jericho probably still deserved to win with a dunk of that calibur.
