UFC Undisputed

I'm pretty stoked about this game because I became a MMA fan just a year ago. The videos look okay though, which bums me out. It's cool that there is 3 different styles for stand up and ground game, I understand that because it would then get too complicated, but the striking looks clunky and stiff. I wish it looked more smooth and realistic like in Fight Night Round 3.

By the way, Fight Night Round 4 looks sweet. But by saying height and reach matter, I hope it's not about having tall ass fighters everytime.

Yeah it looks like its gonna be sick. The striking does look really robotic but I don't care it still looks awesome. I'm just disappointed you can only pick one of 3 styles for striking and grappling. It's called MIXED martial arts for a reason, a lot of good BJJ guys have some pretty nasty throws too(demian maia, gsp, etc). Also there isn't a karate style in standup, I wonder how they're gonna handle Machida.

just downloaded the demo, game is amazing
probably wont be that great playing by yourself, but playing with another person is fucking intense. it will make you yell more than super smash bros

Also, how did you get the demo? Are you a 360 owner because I own a Playstation 3.

if you preorder it from gamestop they give you a code to get the demo on the 360

yeah it will probably still be good playing by yourself, but its kind of a button masher standing up. the ground game is much more technical but its hard as shit to get used to cause it's pretty complicated. you pretty much flick/roll the right stick in different directions for difference transitions, posture breaks, etc. on the bottom you hold the right stick in a direction to defend a pass, or flick it at the same time as the other guy to counter it and sweep them. sub attempts are pretty much done by clicking the right stick at the right time(like catching a punch and armbarring), but once you start to attempt it it turns into spinning the stick as fast as you can to try an finish the submission or escape(you can also use brute force and try and punch them to escape). i thought a nice touch though is that there are different levels to a submission attempt. for example if you go for an armbar on the bottom once you get it half way you flip them over and end up in standard armbar position and i'm pretty sure can abandon the sub and just take the good position.

Have you guys been playing the demo? It's so fun, it's way better than i expected. It's only Chuck vs. Shogun but I've played the fight like 30 times so far.

It's a great demo, I'm really psyched for the career mode now.

The demo is freakin epic. All you need is a 360 and gold then just goto game demos on your dashboard.

Man I don't even play videogames these days but I had a go of the UFC demo at my mate's house, graphics were really slick as was the gameplay but it's too easy to get a 1st round KO (especially if you just tap that overhead punch over and over lol) got a first hit knockdown aswell.
