Ive been signed up for a few months. Just been waiting. I was able to get my hands on some .45 so Id be able to shoot my XD after the class. I more than likely wont carry on me around town, just when Im out of town. But it will be nice to be able to hand an office my DL and a CCW card when I get pulled over instead of saying " I have a gun."

They seriously need to nationalize the reciprocity of this shit. Its ridiculous.

Went to the class today. It was pretty fun. The shooting part was stupid easy. We had to do 36 shots total. The distances were 6 feet, 10 feet, and 15 feet. And the targets were some HUGE silhouettes. You would do 12 shots at each distance, with a reload after 6 rounds.
There was this really old guy with a walker there, and at the range someone asked him if he needed some muffs, and he said, "Nope, I turned my hearing aids off." lol
From what I hear, the best thing to do is get a CCW from one of two states (Florida and I think Utah) because you don't need to be a resident to get one and their reciprocity agreements cover almost half the states.Quote:
